An aromatic massage, once or twice a week, gently relieves the aching stiffness of tense muscles. By improving the circulation of blood and lymph, massage aids the elimination of tissue wastes which build up in the muscle fibers and contribute to knots of pain and generalized muscle aching, together with restricted movement.
- 15 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 10 ml diluted rosemary oil
- 4 drops juniper berry essential oil
- 4 drops frankincense essential oil
Caution: Never massage over inflamed and swollen joints. However, some people’s arthritis comes and goes – a massage over the affected joints is fine in between flare-ups and may help reduce the severity of future attacks.
