Blend 1

• 3 drops rosemary essential oil
• 2 drops coriander essential oil
• 4 drops lemon essential oil

Blend 2

• 3 drops rosemary essential oil
• 3 drops basil essential oil
• 3 drops orange essential oil

Fill the small bowl of a burner with water. Add the oils. Light a night light to heat the oils. Alternatively, put the drops on a handkerchief and inhale at intervals.

• 100 ml distilled water
• 10 drops rosemary essential oil
• 20 drops bergamot essential oil
• 20 drops orange essential oil
• 20 drops lemon essential oil 10 drops pure neroli or petitgrain essential oil
• 5 drops rose otto essential oil (optional)
• Coffee filter paper

Put the oils into a 100 ml dark bottle, top up with distilled water and shake well. At this stage the cologne smells rather raw – so allow it to mature for two weeks before use. Keep in a cool, dark place and shake well each day to help it mature. When it’s ready, pour through a damp filter paper into an atomizer or storage bottle. As the cologne has a high proportion of essential oils, test a little on the inside of your arm 24 hours before use.

• 50 ml unperfumed base shower gel
• 2 drops ginger essential oil
• 1 drop cardamom or black pepper essential oil
• 4 drops bergamot essential oil
• 2 drops lime or lemon essential oil
• 4 drops jasmine absolute
• 3 drops geranium essential oil
• 1 drop vetivert essential oil

Add the essential oils to the shower gel and stir until thoroughly mixed. Pour some onto a sponge or loofah and massage over your body, avoiding the more sensitive skin of your face.
